2022 Phoebe 2.0 Rose
Description
Fermented in a mix of neutral (4+ year old) oak barrels as well as stainless steel barrels, this Grenache based press direct rose is reminiscent of the great Bandol Rose’s from southern France. We harvested in early-September with brix of just 20.7 and a natural pH of 3.28. This wine is crisp and clean with subtle watermelon flavors, ripe peach, pink flowers and a soft mouth feel. With an alcohol of just 13.0% and plenty of acidity, the wine is easy drinking and very food friendly
