We’ve been sourcing fruit from John Sebastiano Vineyard for more than ten years. The vineyard continues to prove it’s one of the best locations in the valley for Rhone and Burgundy varietals. This Syrah was sourced from block 18, a western facing wind-swept slope that stresses the vines just enough to bring out their best. Aromas of earth, peppercorns, and brandied cherries open the wine. Look for dark fruits and a smoke on the finish. Give the wine time to breathe and you will be rewarded.
