We sourced fruit for this big shouldered wine from Cripple Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles and, no, your eyes are not deceiving you, it came in at 17% alcohol – making it the biggest wine we have ever made, by far. The wine is delicious but takes a minute to open up. Once it does, it’s brimming with red fruits and spice. Serve it with the juiciest, flashiest steak, hamburger or sausage on your grill.
